| My story started in November of 2006 when my husband and I purchased our first Olde English Bulldog from a local breeder. We really felt drawn to the breed and researched it for a while before making the decision to purchase “our little” Keller. However, it seemed like the poor guy was having health problem after health problem. We fought for five months with food allergies and contact allergies. We tried 8 different dog foods on the market before finally finding one that worked. For a while, we thought we were “clear sailing”. Then… mid year 2007, the pet food recalls came out. We had Keller on one of the best dog foods out there, and thank God, it wasn’t on the recall list. But it really made me think… What can I do to help alleviate this type of thing from hurting him? One night I decided to bake a batch of dog cookies and thought, “I love to bake, and this is the most natural thing that my dog could eat”. There are no dyes, preservatives, byproducts, etc. For about a year I decided to make all of Keller’s doggie biscuits. He absolutely LOVED them! I decided to make them for my family’s pets as well, and their pets loved them. So I decided to open up my own Doggie Bakery! |
